Trent Skelly Peterson, Ties forMinnesota State High School Golf Championship Honors

June 2005 - Trent Skelly Peterson,(No.3 Grandson) who was the Minnesota Golf Association's Junior Player of the Year for 2004, led the Eagan High School boys golf team to a win over 16 other high school teams in the Minnesota Sectional qualifier this spring. Trent carded a 76-70 (par 73) and earned medalist honors. This win qualified the team for a return trip to the Minnesota Class AA boys State Tournament, held at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids, MN in June. At the State Tournament, Trent fired a 70-71 to tie teammate Ryan Peterson for the individual first place honors and the team took first, winning with a record setting score of 591.
